What does yellow mean on TripCheck? ›

Traffic is displayed as a percentage of free-flow speeds, which is frequently the speed limit or how fast cars tend to travel when unencumbered by other vehicles. The streets are color coded as follows: Green (fast): 85 - 100% of free flow speeds. Yellow (moderate): 65 - 85% Orange (slow): 45 - 65%

For example, if your network's location tracking interval is 10 seconds, then a dot will turn purple if that user's location was reported more than 15 seconds ago.

The grey roads are private. Maps will not suggest any thru' traffic along the grey roads.

While Mt Hood roads are maintained, snow can pile up and stick. We recommend driving a 4WD or AWD vehicle for your Mt Hood adventure. Chains or snow tires (with the snowflake icon) are required in Oregon.
