Can you beat Dishonored without touching anyone? ›

Yeah, you can finish Dishonored without killing anyone.

When focusing on the main objectives, Dishonored is about 12 Hours in length. If you're a gamer that strives to see all aspects of the game, you are likely to spend around 37½ Hours to obtain 100% completion.

Your Choices Matter

Dishonored is all about choice. How you dispatch your enemies, what bone charms you choose to use, who you kill and who you save - it all matters.

Personally I tip towards Dishonored 2, mainly because I got a really good 165hz Monitor and its difficult for me to enjoy old graphics (low resolution textures, outdated animations, low quality hitboxes). Nier Automata is the least I could tolerate, eventhough game has plenty of weirdly beautiful moments.

Killing the Weepers present in the sewers beneath the Hound Pits Pub just before The Golden Cat mission will count against the Clean Hands achievement but will not count against the achievements dealing with being spotted.

A tweet from Arkane developer Harvey Smith confirmed that wolfhounds, rats, and river krusts do not count toward body total and therefore will not lock the achievement if killed. Killing or destroying other non-humans, such as fish, Blood Briars, gravehounds and Clockwork Soldiers will also not lock the achievement.

It's the same number of missions. On one hand D2 feels shorter due to some of the missions feeling noticeably shorter than others. On the other hand, the campaign as a whole feels longer due to travelling to Karnaca and back.

Marketed as a "standalone story" in the series, the game's story concludes the narrative arc established by the first game. It is not a full sequel to Dishonored 2 as the game is shorter, more linear and more focused. Many systems were streamlined and simplified.

Dishonored features 3 possible endings which reflect both choices Corvo has made throughout the playthrough, and the manner in which he tackled the events at Kingsparrow Island. Should Corvo arrive at the island in low chaos, he is locked into the single low chaos ending.

The overall chaos canonical ending is the low chaos ending, however, Corvo still did kill a few people but not enough to achieve high chaos. Choices in italics mean they do not have a confirmed outcome as canon.

Canonically, Corvo successfully saves Emily and restores her to the throne as Empress.

High chaos is the most violent path Corvo can take. High chaos results in higher rat and weeper populations, more enemies in Corvo's way, and dark changes in Emily's behavior.

The most powerful character in the game is the character that “you” the gamer control. In all situations. Excluding the gamer sitting on his couch, all the magical characters (Corvo, Daud, Emily, Billie, Delilah, Granny, ...) seem pretty evenly matched depending on the context of the fight.

Release window

According to the leaked documents, which we should still take with skepticism until an official public statement is made, Dishonored 3 is currently planned for a “FY24E” release. FY24E is shorthand for Fiscal Year 2024, which runs between April 2024 and March 2025.

Killing assassination targets or other human beings: In Dishonored, every X members of a group killed will increase chaos by 6. For civilians, X is 1, meaning that every single civilian killed will add 6 points to the chaos score.
